Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.
Its design is a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots can't accomplish this feat. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is a good option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to tell whether they're functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area which many robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missing in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map or change the labels of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it can be done with relative ease. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are among the top available however it's expensive.
The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. The majority of other robots require this.
And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've used that has done well at picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do everything.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive, but offers more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile ones.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's simple to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near an outlet for power and plenty of room to allow it to move, however.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The primary characteristic that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it left off.
The sleek G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. smart robot has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand, is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
