While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best option is probably a hybrid. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option for those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available - but it's also pricey.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices available which include a variety of eufy models that cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet flooring, and mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.
The main characteristic that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. The G30 is, however is less expensive and is much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky material like cereal.
