The robot can handle the largest obstacles such as food bowls, toys, backpacks, and shoes without any issue. But it can get stuck or get caught up in smaller and less hefty objects such as shoelaces, USB cables, and pen.

In our test of how well it cleaned baking soda from baseboards and in corners, the Scout RX3 was impressive. Its suction was less powerful than other robots but it was still silent and moved swiftly. It did not mop and its cleaning pad that was removable was difficult to attach. It also wasn't able to handle dirt that was dried on.
Its app lacks advanced features like multiple cleaning modes or automated scheduling. It supports Alexa but its voice controls don't seem to be very clear or responsive. Also, it's a bit flaky when it comes to getting back to the charging station after a run other robots are able to trace a previous path or sensibly follow a wall around until they get to their home however, the RX3 simply bumbles around until it quits and sends a failure message to your phone.
best home vacuum cleaner faced was with its clever features, particularly the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. It was good at keeping our shoes and furniture legs away, but it was easily hung up on cables, socks and carpets. This is the reason we decided not to include it in our Best Buy list. Still, with a decent price tag and impressive performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional uprights.
