The app will guide you through the entire process. It is also easy to use and set up. Another notable feature is the ability to return to where it began in our tests. It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, before running out of battery.
The i3+ EVO, unlike some of the other robot vacuums that we tested comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt container on its charging base once it's full. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin can hold 2.4L of debris, which is enough to last four or five cleaning sessions before needing to replace it.
Similar to the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 is able to store multiple maps. The i7's map is used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not the i3+ EVO.
Although the i3+ EVO is superior in picking up debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at however, it's not the most effective for cleaning edges and corners. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being surprisingly quiet. It moved chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our bed, and was stuck to cords and toys while testing.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
Whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums or are just starting out using one, the Q5 Pro is a great option. It packs serious power, a smart navigation system and a user-friendly automation into a sleek and stylish design at an affordable price. It's the most efficient pound-for pound model currently available and even beats some of Roborock's more expensive models in many ways.
This robot is great at cleaning floors that are dirty, and its avoidance tech helps it to steer away from furniture legs and other obstacles. It also does well on carpets and scores a high score in our navigation tests. The only issue is that it's noisier than many other models we test, and it doesn't fare as well in our owners satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments.
The Q5 Pro has a very large dust bin of 770ml which means you don't have to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute run time is also impressive when in comparison to other 2-in-1 robots we have tested. When the battery is low, it returns to its dock and automatically recharges before resuming cleaning where it stopped. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is one of the first robots we've seen incorporate 3D mapping. This, along with other innovations has helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests for vacuuming and mopping tests. It is possible to schedule cleanings and create no-go zones. You can also check the status of your battery. The app is easy to use, but it doesn't support Apple HomeKit and that feature is slated to be added by 2025. Apple updated its website's footnote in early November to reflect that this feature has been delayed until 2025. Some other robots won't work with HomeKit, but many of them are compatible with Siri Shortcuts.

The iMop awed us with its analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency and was also good at avoiding obstacles, including furniture. It also has the ability to locate its way back to the base station which is a nice feature in the event it's running out of battery during cleaning.
It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that allows you to clean or mop the specific part of your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a specific path. This is ideal for narrow hallways or stairs. robotic vacuum cleaners did a decent job of cleaning carpets during our carpet cleaning evaluation however, it had trouble with longer pile carpets and rugs. It is able to lift the mop pad when it comes in contact with carpet. This is a fantastic feature for those who want to not have to mop their carpets.
